I have not seen some of you for three weeks... others it has been even longer... unless you are Scooby or Farmy in which case I saw you either just a few days ago or two seconds ago respectively. How are you all? Camp is slowing down, we've got guest groups most weekends (Let us know if you want to help with them) and plenty of closing down things to do. Did you know that just yesterday I shut down the pools for the winter? The heat is off, Chlorine bobbers are in place, basketball hoops and the diving board are gone. It looks completely different. The lodge has floorspace again, the chapel looks like a chapel from the 70's (which it is by the way). Things are generally quieter.
I hope you all are well. Do keep in touch, we'd love to hear what you are up to as well. And who knows, maybe this year I'll make the blog more of a regular thing... A weekly Phobie adventure at camp... How could that go wrong?

Ahhgghhh Camp is coming, CAMP IS COMING!!!!!
The Banquet is done and now we are on the home stretch for the beginning of camp. Five weeks ladies and gentlemen. Five short weeks. Most of you will be finishing school in that time. Are you excited? Are you? Seriously? I know I am. So much to do. Most of the chapel decorations should be arriving this week and then I get to set that up. I think it will look pretty awesome in there this year. But then again, with the theme, how could one go wrong? I’ve got paintball supplies coming in this week and the bikes are getting checked for maximum availability, the night-game is coming along splendidly. Can we say, “Time Gremlin Trivia?” I know I can.
I hope you are all as excited for camp as I am. Good luck in your final month of school, study hard for finals. The Lord be with you until I see you in June... and then I hope he stays with you... Which he will because he never leaves us or forsake us... and I mean “Hope” being in the biblical sense, “If we hope we wait expectantly for it.” It’s a hope based on Christ’s faithfulness... You know what I mean. See you in five.

Summer
Ladies and Gentlemen, it comes in 14 weeks. Summer is fast approaching and I anticipate it with great excitement. I'm really excited for the nightgame this year and a new evening activity we're planning. I'm not sure what movie to do for the drive-in though, any thoughts?
I just got back from the CCCA sectional and I got some great ideas there and I'm really excited for this upcoming summer. Each one seems to get better and I think this one will be no exception. Staff recruiting is going well, we have even had some interviews. We're still low on guy counseling staff, but that is normal, we're looking forward to seeing the Lord provide as always.

Alright, so I'm not a blogger
So it has been a few months since I last updated. I'm still getting used to this. I hope you all are doing well. It was great to see some of you at the reunion in December... well all of you that I saw it was great, I simply meant that I did not see everyone there and so it could not have been great to see them since I did not see them. I did not mean that of those I saw it was only great to see some of them. You know what? Deal with it. I'm glad I got to see some of you.
It is that time again. Time for the spring thaw (maybe, we'll see if this snow goes away), time for flowers to bloom, time for baby animals and time for winter clean-up here at camp. That's been fun. I really enjoy any time they let me run around with a chainsaw. I hope that you all are doing great, we're gearing up for another summer here and it is looking like it will be pretty awesome... alright, incredibly awesome. So drop me a line and let me know how you all are doing, I'm looking forward to seeing you come in for interviews or just visits. Have a great late winter, I'll see you at guest groups.

Happy Happy Fun Time!
Alrighty, alrighty. The staff photos have been found (thank for your help with that Blueberry), and if I understand correctly, they have been sent to you for your perusal and enjoyment. Some suggestions I have thought up for them are as follows
1. Get a school binder with that clear plastic in the front and place the picture in that. Then explain to everyone who sees you with your binder who everyone is and what you liked/didn't like about them.
2. Take the file to Kinko's and have the image blown up to wall size and use it as a mural on your bedroom wall.
3. Find the staff member you were crushing on all summer and draw little hearts around him or her. Do the same with your BFF.
4. Add it to the scrapbook collage.
5. Take it to all of your camp friends and have them sign it, just like your high school yearbook.
6. cut it into 3"x3" squares and use them as coasters.
7. Really, there are infinite pissibilities for this.
Also, the staff DVD's have been finished. You are welcome to come pick one up if you would like, or we will be handing them out at the reunion (Which is in a couple of weeks FYI). Thank you much to Farmy and Zeppo for getting those done. They look marvelous... I haven't watched it yet... but the cover looks amazing!
Anyway, I hope you all are doing well, and I look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.

Staff Stuff.
I have gotten a few requests about an all staff photo. I have been looking for it on the server for the past month with no luck. If any of you know where it is, or you accidentally moved it or anything. I wont be mad, I am more curious at this point. Staff DVD's are due out in a couple of weeks, and we will let you know if and when we find the staff photo. Anybody with any clue as to its location, please contact me at tim@tcbc.com. By the by, there are two staff blogs. I started this one on accident (I'm not sure how), but we'll go with it and see how it all comes out. The address for the blog we originally intended is: http://troutcreekstaff.blogspot.com/ At this point that one says the same thing as this one and I'll try to keep it that way. Hope you all are doing well and enjoying for first taste of Fall.

Heeeeeelllllllooooooo Staff!
Greetings and salutations staff! How are you all doing? Camp is doing great, the rains have set in to make it nice and muddy so we have all retreated to indoor projects. I decided mine was to start a couple of blogs. My hope with this is to give you all an outlet on-line to provide feedback and keep in touch with everyone. Whether it be prayer requests, things you are learning in the word or just fun stories from your life. I encourage you to let us know. Also we want to keep you updated on what is coming in the future (new cabins, games, fun facts, Phobie's getting married, etc). So sit back, buckle in and hold on tight, this is new for us, so let us know what you think, and things you'd like to talk about. I welcome you to this blog and look forward to your feedback.
